Learn Naturally - Like Chatting with a Friend
My approach is designed for independent learners who want real progress without the stress of traditional classes.
Practice flexibly via WhatsApp using voice and text messages, receive corrections and exercises as needed, and add live classes for extra support.
“I’m Belgian, living in Spain, teaching mainly English and music. I love languages and pick them up quite easily, by cultural immersion or self-study, especially reading. I think it is clear that traditional language courses are not useful for me, and I’m glad to have found a like-minded person in Chiara.
I’d been learning Italian for some time, but noticed that every time it came to speaking, I didn’t know where to begin. I didn’t have a specific goal in mind, but just wanted to feel comfortable using and understanding the language. So, I decided to sign up for Chiara’s accountability programme.
She proposes speaking topics or exercises according to my needs. Her corrections are very helpful; she explains everything clearly with examples and comparison to other languages we have in common, and she is always patient with me, repeating the same things over and over again if necessary.
Over the past two months I have lost my fear of speaking and I feel more confident about my Italian skills. The contact through WhatsApp messages, both audio, and text, makes the process of learning less stressful and more like talking to a friend.
I have been working with Chiara to improve my French for more than 6 months now, and I would recommend her classes to anyone interested in learning a new language, French as well as any other that Chiara masters.
Chiara is an excellent, always-positive, dedicated, and patient teacher. She helped me grow my French from an absolute zero to something around B2 with impressive steadiness and quality content. Chiara’s methodology is versatile, flexible, and engaging, regardless of your level in your target language.
I recommend
starting with, at least, a 2-month engagement, and you’ll be delighted
by the progress you’ll start seeing by the end of it. I couldn’t recommend enough Chiara’s lessons to anyone interested in learning a new language
As an engineer living and working in Italy, I found myself needing to speak and understand Italian like my Italian friends and colleagues. Unfortunately, I got stuck at a certain level, mispronouncing many words, and there was no one to correct me. This was especially because my friends and colleagues spoke English perfectly and would switch to English whenever they noticed my struggle!
Attending formal courses was not feasible due to time constraints, I needed a flexible solution. That’s when Chiara introduced a method that met my requirements. I’ve been following this course with her for several months now. Her availability, patience, and enthusiasm for her work have left a strong impression on me. She is always there to answer any language-related questions and she continually enhances her teaching approach by introducing new methods and new offers.
Recently
we’ve been using Notion as a communication board, and I’m extremely
satisfied with the result. Notion allows you to create custom pages and
databases of what you already practiced. It works very well for personal
note taking task management and knowledge sharing. Whatever you need
for a perfect remote language course
Why Traditional Language Learning can be frustrating
You commit to weekly classes, hoping to make progress.
But life happens. Days pass, and by the next session, much is forgotten.
The issue? Fluency isn't achieved through occasional deep dives; it comes from consistent, manageable exposure.
Real fluency develops when your brain engages with the language daily, not just once a week.
Individual classes might give you more speaking time, but if you calculate how much you actually talk in an hour, it’s surprisingly little.
And without frequent practice in between, progress slows down, frustration builds, and fluency feels out of reach.
My goal is to become fluent in the Italian language, especially for my job market.
When I started with Chiara two months ago with her method, firstly, I was shocked at how I could learn through WhatsApp and checking my errors in this way.
But when I reached the middle of the month, I understood I could learn, check, and find my errors clearly and slowly without hurrying up, which may happen in online meeting classes.
Having a class in this method is very practical for me. Because I realized from my own experience that language can only be learned and used through practice. And this form of practice, because it exposes people to real language usage, is more useful.
When sending voice messages, I noticed that I pay more attention to choosing words and grammar, and there is a better opportunity to use new vocabulary.
Moreover, there is more opportunity to talk about different topics that we may not talk about in daily life, and as a result, we may never use some words and part of the grammar.
I participated in two courses in a class with a new method, which was very new to me and I really liked it.
It helped me a lot in speaking because I could learn the language freely without stress. It was up to me to manage my time.
Break free from the Cycle
Imagine staying immersed in the language without feeling overwhelmed.
No more starting over each week. You don't need another rigid class or endless word lists.
You need daily exposure in small, digestible chunks—a method that keeps your brain engaged and helps you build a practical toolkit of sentences.
Picture picking up your phone, chatting in your target language, and naturally using what you've learned - whenever and as much as you want.
Enjoy more flexibility, more practice opportunities, and real progress.
The first and most important reason for me is that I don’t have to be in a specific place at a specific time for class; I can attend class wherever I am, whether I’m on the bus or waiting for my doctor’s appointment. Whenever I have a question, I can write it in the chat and Chiara patiently answers me, or when a sentence comes to mind, I can write it for her to tell me if it’s correct or not. Or how can I express it better?
You don’t have to do a ton of assignments It feels like I’m chatting with a friend. What’s really interesting for me is that even though I’ve only started a month ago, it has boosted my confidence in writing messages more. Before, I would always double-check with my daughter after writing a message or an email.
To be honest, at first, I had some doubts because it was a new method for me, or better to say unfamiliar. That’s why I couldn’t trust it much at the beginning. But I must say, with this method, learning a language feels sweeter and more engaging.
And I think for someone like me who has a lot of work, this method is very light and pleasant. Another thing is that I don’t feel like I’m chatting with a teacher; it feels more like chatting with a friend. Another point is that it’s like having a private class focusing only on my weaknesses. I can even tailor the lesson based on my needs related to my work environment, communication with friends, or anything else.
There are two povs from the people who I know.
Some believe that they need to be pushed by the teacher and regular classes to make them study and prepare, they insist on having the normal class, particularly in person, but the others think that if they have some flexibility during the day or week to do the exercise it would be better like for me.
I could say this method would be excellent for the people who could dedicate a bit of time during the day consistently. Also, the rewards that you provide are a good motivation too, especially for the student.
This method might not be easy for those who want to go from zero to B1 in 3-6 months, but it’s really good for someone like me who doesn’t have much free time, especially because it’s goal-oriented.
You start from your weaknesses and gradually get motivated to practice daily instead of just a few hours per week. (It becomes a habit over time.)
Your nice
explanations make me not afraid of making mistakes and give me the
confidence to make mistakes and learn. I forgot to mention that I
introduced all my non-Italian friends to your page two weeks ago because
they all had the same problem as me and had limited time.
A Language Teacher Who's Been in Your Shoes
I didn’t learn English through school. I picked it up chatting with people on language exchange platforms, learning on my own before all the resources we now have.
I learned Persian mostly by myself, with mixed results, because good resources were hard to find. When I finally got a private teacher, I realized that one hour a week just wasn’t enough - especially when I was exhausted from my previous job, frequently late to class, and barely engaging with the language in between sessions.
I had a similar experience with Russian when I was an intern in Moscow. I did tons of grammar exercises that focused on vocabulary and topics I’d never use, and it was frustrating because I had no real chance to practice them, while I struggled to talk at the market or explain what I had done earlier in the day.
When I got to Brussels and joined Alliance Française for French, I realised I was progressing but it wasn’t because of the class. It was because I started chatting outside class with other people, and those conversations helped me progress faster than my classmates (who were still in my same class month after month despite any lack of progress from their side).
I learned French through everyday conversations with a French-speaking Belgian friend. We’d send voice and text messages about things we were both passionate about. That’s when it clicked for me.
I’ve used this approach to learn Dutch too, making the most progress when I connected with a Flemish friend and practiced daily.

Questions
We chat on WhatsApp - just like talking to a friend, but one who corrects you and gives you exercises when needed. You’ll receive targeted feedback, plus optional add-ons like calls and a language journal to boost your learning.
There’s no set time requirement! You can participate as little or as much as you want. Even 5-10 minutes a day makes a difference.
No stress! Learning a language should fit your life, not the other way around. You can always pick up where you left off.
Nope! Whether you're a beginner or already know some basics, the method adapts to your level. If you're starting from zero I can provide you with further material and exercises.
Of course! If you like structured lessons, you can combine this method with weekly one-on-one or group classes. The key is frequent, short interactions to keep the language active in your brain.
I currently offer Italian, English, French and Belgian Dutch. If you're unsure whether this method is right for your target language, just ask!
I also speak Persian and Russian at an intermediate level. I'm definitely convinced that this method could be beneficial, but of course the amount of support I can give is more limited.
💡 That’s exactly why this method works! No fixed schedules, no long classes—just quick, flexible interactions throughout your day, like texting a friend. Even a few minutes here and there add up to real progress.
💡 You’ll have structured guidance without rigid lessons. I provide tailored exercises and corrections, so you always know what to focus on while keeping things natural and stress-free.
💡 Traditional lessons often leave long gaps between practice. This method keeps your brain engaged with short, frequent interactions, making it easier to retain and apply what you learn.
💡 Yes! Think about how you learned your first language—you picked it up through natural interactions. The same happens here, but with targeted corrections and exercises where needed.
💡 You can add a 20-minute weekly call for real-time practice. However, remember that fluency comes from consistent exposure, not just sporadic sessions!
