People say about me that...
Goele, clarinetist and teacher
I’m Belgian, living in Spain, teaching mainly English and music. I love languages and pick them up quite easily, by cultural immersion or self-study, especially reading. I think it is clear that traditional language courses are not useful for me, and I’m glad to have found a like-minded person in Chiara.
I’d been learning Italian for some time, but noticed that every time it came to speaking, I didn’t know where to begin. I didn’t have a specific goal in mind, but just wanted to feel comfortable using and understanding the language. So, I decided to sign up for Chiara’s accountability programme.
She proposes speaking topics or exercises according to my needs. Her corrections are very helpful; she explains everything clearly with examples and comparison to other languages we have in common, and she is always patient with me, repeating the same things over and over again if necessary.
Over the past two months I have lost my fear of speaking and I feel more confident about my Italian skills. The contact through WhatsApp messages, both audio, and text, makes the process of learning less stressful and more like talking to a friend.
Giovanni, data analyst in the Netherlands
I am from Italy and I am 27. I moved to the Netherlands for work in October 2022 with my girlfriend, but at the beginning, I didn’t feel the need to learn the local language. Only after 1 year, I realized that learning Dutch was the only way to feel part of the community and to have a social life. So I started working with Chiara, I was inspired by her method which fits perfectly with my tight calendar, and I understood since the beginning that I was not going to waste my time, as it usually happens with language courses. She is really keen on working towards a common objective, and you can grasp her passion for her job. After 5 months I already feel more confident in stepping in conversations with my colleagues, and we are also trying to talk only in Dutch. I am very surprised by the incentives to learn more that this method triggers in my daily life.
Hasti, Iranian student in Italy looking to move to Germany
I am an Iranian student who studied in Italy. For learning Italian, I started with Chiara, and later, when I decided to learn German, I chose Chiara again because I loved her teaching method.
I’ve always struggled with traditional learning methods; they are often boring, generic, and end up wasting time with unnecessary information and confusion. Chiara’s approach, however, is entirely different.
With her method, I have the freedom to learn at my own pace while knowing I have her support and encouragement whenever I need it. She even allows me to use my own materials, which makes the process both enjoyable and personalized to my interests.
What I particularly appreciated about Chiara is her curiosity and the way she introduces me to new ideas and resources. She is a kind and open-minded teacher who has always encouraged me throughout my learning journey.
Thanks to her approach, instead of losing momentum halfway through, I find myself more motivated to learn faster and explore even more. It has been a truly wonderful experience studying with her!
Marco, Italian business analyst in France
I have been working with Chiara to improve my French for more than 6 months now, and I would recommend her classes to anyone interested in learning a new language, French as well as any other that Chiara masters. Chiara is an excellent, always-positive, dedicated, and patient teacher. She helped me grow my French from an absolute zero to something around B2 with impressive steadiness and quality content. Chiara’s methodology is versatile, flexible, and engaging, regardless of your level in your target language. I recommend starting with, at least, a 2-month engagement, and you’ll be delighted by the progress you’ll start seeing by the end of it. I couldn’t recommend enough Chiara’s lessons to anyone interested in learning a new language
Siamak, Engineering graduate in Italy
My goal is to become fluent in the Italian language, especially for my job market. When I started with Chiara two months ago with her method, firstly, I was shocked at how I could learn through WhatsApp and checking my errors in this way.
But when I reached the middle of the month, I understood I could learn, check, and find my errors clearly and slowly without hurrying up, which may happen in online meeting classes.
Dorsa, Pharmacy student in Italy
The best part of this chatting method was learning everything based on my own mistakes which helped me to memorize them all better and use them in my real and probable situations. It was very challenging at first, I should have write down everything but after a while, I could speak in many situations immediately. Another significant item was that I didn’t have definite free time for classes and I studied mostly at midnight. I could listen to my voice and its corrected forms anytime.
Arya, IT student in Italy
Having worked with Chiara for more than 3 months, I gotta say it’s a perfect experience as not only she’s professional and friendly at the same time but also the flexible schedules are perfect for students and those who want to practice italian at their own time but at the same time being supervised at any given moment and ask their questions. At the end I had a great experience with her and her method and will recommend to all of my friends too.
Chiara, KU Leuven, Belgium
I am a professor at a university in Flanders, Belgium. I needed to improve my spoken Dutch to better interact with my colleagues at work. I found Chiara’s method very useful for improving the language with great flexibility in scheduling, thanks to remote support and voice recordings. Throughout this process, I still received precise feedback from the teacher. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience!
Shahrzad, student of Brera Fine Arts Academy, Italy
Having a class in this method is very practical for me. Because I realized from my own experience that language can only be learned and used through practice. And this form of practice, because it exposes people to real language usage, is more useful. When sending voice messages, I noticed that I pay more attention to choosing words and grammar, and there is a better opportunity to use new vocabulary. Moreover, there is more opportunity to talk about different topics that we may not talk about in daily life, and as a result, we may never use some words and part of the grammar.
Francesco, Country Manager Italy at Bergzeit
I am an italian living in Germany. Chiara helped me massively in both understanding better how the cases work and create a healthy routine of exercising with different tools and platforms and always providing helpful feedback with the in the reviews. She also went the extra mile creating exercises specifically tailored for my level and needs! Can only recommend
Sahebeh, engineer in Italy
As an engineer living and working in Italy, I found myself needing to speak and understand Italian like my Italian friends and colleagues. Unfortunately, I got stuck at a certain level, mispronouncing many words, and there was no one to correct me. This was especially because my friends and colleagues spoke English perfectly and would switch to English whenever they noticed my struggle!
Attending formal courses was not feasible due to time constraints, I needed a flexible solution. That’s when Chiara introduced a method that met my requirements. I’ve been following this course with her for several months now. Her availability, patience, and enthusiasm for her work have left a strong impression on me. She is always there to answer any language-related questions and she continually enhances her teaching approach by introducing new methods and new offers.
Recently we’ve been using Notion as a communication board, and I’m extremely satisfied with the result. Notion allows you to create custom pages and databases of what you already practiced. It works very well for personal note taking task management and knowledge sharing. Whatever you need for a perfect remote language course!”
Marie-Ange, teacher of French as a foreign language
I love language courses, especially online ones. But when you reach an advanced level, it’s not easy to find a course that perfectly suits your needs. Chiara convinced me to try her method without live lessons, and I have to say I love it. It’s a friendly but professional way of teaching, tailored to my needs, and not overwhelming at all. I warmly recommend her accountability program to all language lovers.
Nazanin, architect in Italy
This method might not be easy for those who want to go from zero to B1 in 3-6 months, but it’s really good for someone like me who doesn’t have much free time, especially because it’s goal-oriented. You start from your weaknesses and gradually get motivated to practice daily instead of just a few hours per week. (It becomes a habit over time.) Your nice explanations make me not afraid of making mistakes and give me the confidence to make mistakes and learn. I forgot to mention that I introduced all my non-Italian friends to your page two weeks ago because they all had the same problem as me and had limited time.
Mozhgan, PhD student in Italy
I participated in two courses in a class with a new method, which was very new to me and I really liked it. It helped me a lot in speaking because I could learn the language freely without stress. It was up to me to manage my time
Amir, engineer in Italy
There are two povs from the people who I know, some believe that they need to be pushed by the teacher and regular classes to make them study and prepare, they insist on having the normal class, particularly in person, but the others think that if they have some flexibility during the day or week to do the exercise it would be better like for me I could say this method would be excellent for the people who could dedicate a bit of time during the day consistently. Also, the rewards that you provide are a good motivation too, especially for the student
Parvin, working in Italy
The first and most important reason for me is that I don’t have to be in a specific place at a specific time for class; I can attend class wherever I am, whether I’m on the bus or waiting for my doctor’s appointment. Whenever I have a question, I can write it in the chat and Chiara patiently answers me, or when a sentence comes to mind, I can write it for her to tell me if it’s correct or not. Or how can I express it better?
You don’t have to do a ton of assignments It feels like I’m chatting with a friend. What’s really interesting for me is that even though I’ve only started a month ago, it has boosted my confidence in writing messages more. Before, I would always double-check with my daughter after writing a message or an email.
To be honest, at first, I had some doubts because it was a new method for me, or better to say unfamiliar. That’s why I couldn’t trust it much at the beginning. But I must say, with this method, learning a language feels sweeter and more engaging.
And I think for someone like me who has a lot of work, this method is very light and pleasant. Another thing is that I don’t feel like I’m chatting with a teacher; it feels more like chatting with a friend. Another point is that it’s like having a private class focusing only on my weaknesses. I can even tailor the lesson based on my needs related to my work environment, communication with friends, or anything else.
Mojtaba, engineer in Italy
When I was about to start this short course, I wasn’t sure how effective four half-hour lessons and voice messages would be. Now that I have completed the last task of this course, I can say that this activity has been more effective than I imagined. Voice messages on WhatsApp may seem very easy at first, but when you get into it, you’ll see that it requires much more concentration and energy than you imagine. Personally, I needed three days for each message
